They talk about how important leadership skills are and how everyone should be a leader. You might be thinking: “Hey I don’t want to be a leader. I just want to do great work.”
If you’re anything like me when you hear someone say “UX/UI” your eyes roll into the back of your head. When I hear people say this, it tells me one thing: Those people likely don’t know what a UX designer really does, Which is a damn shame. But more critically, it tells me they don’t fully understand the value a UX Designer can bring to a team.
So you’re thinking about getting UX Design? UX design can be an Incredibly rewarding, well-paid, exciting career. But, it’s not for everyone. Being a UX designer is often challenging, especially if you’re in an organization that doesn’t fully appreciate the value a good UX team can bring.

Are you a recent design grad? Did you just finish a boot camp? I don’t have those things, but I do think I’ve got something that will be just as valuable in your UX journey.
