I’ve been lucky enough to have some really incredible guests come on the show for interviews recently. I’ve got so many in the backlog that if I kept the current schedule you wouldn’t hear them for six months!
Changes are afoot
What’s up UX fam? It’s August 31, 2023, and tomorrow I will be releasing episode 41 which should be a solo episode. Those are the ones where I don’t have a guest and just talk about one UX topic or another.
Well, the thing is I’ve been thinking about the structure of the podcast a lot recently. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of awesome people come in for an interview over the last few months.
I was trying to build up a backlog, but I may have gotten a little too carried away because if I kept with the current schedule these most recent interviews, like the one I did last week with Christopher Nguyen, wouldn’t be released until the middle of January in 2024!
I can’t keep y’all waiting for great content like that, so I’ve decided to do fewer solo episodes and more interviews. I’m not going to completely stop doing the solo episodes. When I have something really important to say I will definitely hop up on my soapbox and talk about whatever it is that I want to talk about. Those aren’t necessarily going anywhere, I’m just going to do less of them.
So instead of alternating solo/interview/solo/interview, I’m going to do more interviews and throw in a solo episode randomly when I think it makes sense. I’m still going to shoot for a new episode every week, so don’t worry your pretty little heads about that.
I have so many awesome interviews lined up, I can’t wait for you to hear them all.
So I hope you all don’t mind the change in structure, and we’ll see tomorrow with a brand new episode featuring Sera Tajima from The Craft. Stay tuned!
